- Unnati ISEC, a not for profit entity strives to contribute meaningfully for making children’s living
dignified, safe and resourceful.
- We work for the children from the age group of 3 to 14, girls of adolescent age and young women.
- Our main stakeholder is a tribal community from two different parts of Maharashtra.
Our domains of work are mainly the schools, Education and women empowerment.
- Unnati ISEC works to promote mother-tongue based multilingual education at primary grades in the Melghat
area of Maharashtra’s Vidarbha region. The intervention is in “Korku”- a language of Korku tribal
community which is situated in Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh.
- Strengthening the momentum of and within school libraries is another area of Unnati ISEC’s work.
- Empowerment of adolescent girls and young women is another area of our work.
